Silk Painting Courses for Adults (on hold)

Welcome to my website.

I am a musician, artist, teacher and composer. I am based in Woking, Surrey.

I teach the cello from my home studio. You can find out more about my cello teaching on www.surreycelloteacher.co.uk.

I am taking a break from offering silk painting courses to work on other creative projects. If you would like to do some silk painting in the meantime, please do buy your silk painting supplies from my shop, or from my favourite supplier www.silkcraft.co.uk and check out my video series of silk painting techniques to help you get started.

ABOUT MY MUSIC:

Jane Cameron BMus(TCM) ATCL(MusEd) AMusA(Cello) MISM is a local cellist, pianist, singer and composer. She started the piano at a very early age, and the cello when she was 15.

She studied the cello at Trinity College of Music London with Joely Koos, and subsequently with Alison Moncrieff-Kelly. She conducted Wonersh Choral Society for five years, and spent ten years as String Coach and Assistant Conductor of The Learning Orchestra.

Jane also led the cello section of Surrey County Youth Orchestra, was a member of the London Concert Choir, and taught the cello and piano in schools for many years. She also used to coach on Grittleton Chamber Music Course, and has a current DBS certificate.

Jane has been teaching the cello since 1997, and now offers private lessons to adults and children from her home studio in Woking, Surrey.

Jane Cameron is an artist, based in Woking, Surrey, who specialises in the traditional arts of Silk Painting and Ceramics.
