When I started teaching silk painting courses, my students asked me which kit they should buy to continue their silk painting journey at home. I couldn't find one which had everything in it they would need so, in collaboration with Silkcraft, I designed one. I am very pleased that my kit is so popular, and hope you enjoy painting with it.

Resources and DVDs by other artists

Studio Galli have published a silk painting DVD by Jill Kennedy. This is now also available as a download. I have done several silk painting courses with Jill and she's a lovely person and a fabulous teacher. However, this course uses silk DYES, not silk paints. There are some similarities but dyes have a much more involved fixing process. If you'd like to learn online then do visit their website to find out more.

There are also many helpful videos and projects available on Youtube.
