Parties - Fun with Silk Painting!
I run fabulous silk painting parties for children of ages 8 and up (and for adults too!). I am able to travel to you and run the course in the comfort and convenience of your home.
Parties are normally for groups of 6 children (although up to 8 can be accommodated, depending on age). The parties last for two hours, and the children will paint several beautiful silk cards to take home at the end of the party.
Children are asked to bring an apron, have their hair tied back, and wear clothes with sleeves that can be rolled up. All equipment is provided, and a non-carpeted room is preferred.
If you would prefer to have your party at my studio in Woking instead, that can also be arranged.
I currently charge £99 for up to 6 children, with £15 per additional child, within a 10 mile radius of Woking. For parties further away I charge additional mileage at 50p per mile. Parties normally run 2pm to 4pm and I need access to the room from approx 1.30pm to set up. A parent or guardian must be available at all times during the party.

I accept payment by paypal, personal cheque or bank transfer. The party must be paid for in full at least one month before the party date. If you cancel your party within 1 month of the party date, a 25% fee is payable. I cannot offer refunds for parties cancelled within one week of the party date.
Silk Painted Card Kits!
If you wish to continue your adventure at home after the party, I also have a range of silk painted card kits available for you to buy.
Each kit contains:
- 5 pre-printed silk outlines, which are attached to a backing paper so you don't need a frame.
- 5 10ml bottles of silk paint, in Red, Yellow, Blue, Black and White. All colours can be mixed from these basic colours.
- 5 high quality white card blanks and matching envelopes.
- Paint brush.
- Palette.
- Instructions.

Silk Scarves in the Microwave
For older children, or adults, I also run a "Silk Scarves in the Microwave" course at my studio in Woking. Come and dye your own amazing silk scarf in this short course - no paintbrush required!
Also perfect for Birthday parties and adult social occasions, I can take up to 8 people on this course which can be run during the day or in the evening. Why not bring your friends?
Please note: Due to the amount of space and setup required, I am not able to run this course in your home.
The course fee includes one silk scarf and two smaller pieces of silk. Additional scarves are available to buy and dye, at £6 each, if time allows, and kits are available at £10.95 if you would like to continue your adventure at home.
You are advised to wear old clothes and an apron, as these dyes do stain permanently. I accept no responsibility for marks left on your clothing, though these are rare. I provide rubber gloves (please advise if you have a latex allergy).
